Acadia Youth Kayaking
Our Acadia Youth Kayaking excursions are roughly 2-2.5 hour commitments and geared towards families on vacation!
They are typically operating in a very protected bay on the shores of Mount Desert Island. These excursions aim at encouraging our youth to get inspired by the beauty of the rugged Maine coast, and all that Acadia has to offer them. They are the future of this region, and we seek to show them a paddling experience unlike any other!
Your Registered Maine Guide will decide which route will be the most enjoyable and safest based on wind direction/velocity, visibility and tides.
Oyster Farm Tour
We will provide a beautiful sunset kayak excursion to the farm which includes wildlife, oyster tasting, beautiful scenery and an Acadia sunset!
You will have the opportunity to paddle directly through the farm and get an up close and personal angle on how this native species is grown.
Oysters will be harvested and shucked onsite and served to you in your kayak by the farmers!
Lots of opportunity for dialogue with the farmers so you can learn about local food systems, the culture of working waterfronts, and sustainable seafood.
Foliage Paddle
Come explore the beauty of Northeast creek with us! This excursion has a primary focus of traveling up the creek to photograph and sit in wonder of the fall foliage! Tours are 2.5 hours and meet at Hadley Point public beach.
