Cost for a half-day (4 hour) tour is $48.00 per person for July and August.
$44.00 per person in the off-seasons of June and September. Visa, MasterCard,
Discover, Travelers checks and personal checks are accepted. (Although not required,
a guide gratuity at the end of your trip is a nice gesture for outstanding service.)

Because our groups are small (12 people maximum), reservations in advance are
suggested so you get the day and time that fits best with your plans. 1 to 2
weeks prior to your vacation to Acadia is a good time frame to call. You will
be asked the number of persons in your party, where you are staying, and credit
card info to confirm your trip. If you must change or cancel a reservation, we
require 24 hours notice. You should receive a full refund if you cancel with
a 24 hour notice.
Weather - Maine State Sea Kayak is always aware of weather changes in
our local area. We monitor the National Weather Service throughout the day and
check the satellite radar on www.weatherunderground.com on
our computer. The final decision on which route is the most appropriate for your
trip is made by your guide. The decision to cancel a trip for safety/conditions
is also made by your guide. We do not usually cancel a trip because of fog, drizzle,
or chance of showers. In fact these conditions often result in some of the best
trips and wildlife sightings. For your safety, high winds, heavy rain, or thunderstorms
could cause cancellation. If so, and you are unable to reschedule, we refund
100% of your trip cost. Surprisingly enough, we are able to operate trips most
days during the season. Air temperatures range from the 50's - 70's May through
September.
